ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a unique opportunity for you to gain exposure to all aspects of music publishing whilst playing a vital role in supporting our editors. This is a busy role where you’ll collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth running of the function. Core responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating new title administration for print and digital titles
  • Maintaining all company and departmental databases
  • Providing other administrative support e.g. organizing departmental conferences, processing invoices or manuscript submissions, and monitoring the music publishing inbox
  • Organizing departmental meetings, preparing and circulating papers, and taking minutes
  • Ensuring title data is accurate and prepared in a timely manner
  • Undertaking desk-based market research, including gathering and analysing sales data
  • Completing basic editorial tasks under supervision of editors
  • Assisting with other departmental activities as required.

We are currently operating hybrid working. We expect this role to require approximately 2 days per month in the Oxford office, possibly increasing in the future. We are also happy for someone to attend the office more if this suits them.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll be an excellent team player with the ability and willingness to learn. The successful candidate will have:

  • Some administration experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work with multiple systems and familiarity with databases
  • Great organization skills; the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Interest in and basic knowledge of classical music, ideally including choral.
