The UK’s music publishing sector is hugely dynamic – covering a wide range of roles, from creative to legal, across all genres of music.
A little bit about our team:
As part of one of the biggest Deal signing Territories of Warner Chappell Music, the UK Admin team represents a significant share of WCM’s global business and is responsible for all elements of Publishing administration using the very latest technology of our customised internal administration system – TANGO, Warner Chappell’s leading cloud-based Deals & Royalties system. The UK Copyright Team is responsible for the registration of all locally signed agreements and associated copyrights as well as maintaining administration integrity of its vast back-catalogue. This includes monitoring all new release and chart activity (digital and non-digital), assisting internal licensing teams and our external licensing partners with appropriate administration support.
This role works alongside the Assistant Copyright Manager and reports directly to the UK Copyright Manager on all matters of copyright exploitation as well as liaising with key members of the UK Admin team to ensure the highest level of rights management service to our clients.
As a key role within the UK Copyright Team, you will be responsible in maintaining Copyright data integrity across our portfolio of clients. You will be a linchpin between the UK Contract Administrator, the Global Copyright team and the UK Royalty Processing Team, ensuring rights of our clients and WCM are upheld in a correct and timely manner to meet our song registration and royalty reporting obligations. Encouraging entrepreneurship and ownership of your role and ambitions, Warner Chappell has a vibrant team culture and really is home of the songwriter.
