UK Music Launches ‘This Is Music’ Survey For Music Creators

UK Music has launched its annual economic survey for music creators to give the industry a better understanding of the economic landscape of the music industry.

As the collective voice for the UK music industry, who represent AIM, BPI, FAC, The Ivors Academy, MMF, MPA, MPG, Musicians’ Union, PPL and PRS for Music, UK Music needs information on creator’s earnings in 2022 in order for us to calculate the economic contribution the music industry made to the UK last year.

This information is important to policymakers and helps UK Music and our members argue for support for creators to Government. Find out more about what UK Music do here.

The survey will form a key part of UK Music’s annual economic report, This Is Music, to be published this autumn. Last year’s report can be read here.

The survey is open to anyone who is a full-time or part-time professional music creator. This includes artists, composers, songwriters, engineers and producers.

Just filling in the survey enters you into a prize draw where you could win one of several great prizes: a £100 Amazon voucher, a £100 GAK music store voucher or a £100 PMT music store voucher.

The data is being collected on behalf of UK Music by AudienceNet. For more information on how your data will be handled see the statement at the top of the survey.
