Royalties Manager – Music Holdings Ltd

Music Holdings Ltd is an affiliate of Cutting Edge Group, a leading global music services provider dedicated to financing, publishing and exploiting music in feature film, television, advertising and video games.

Music Holdings is specifically focused on the aggregation and management of film/tv publishing catalogues.

We are seeking a talented Royalties Manager to join Music Holdings. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading company in the film/TV music space.

You will manage all royalty requirements for Music Holdings, including the following duties:

• Catalogue acquisition research
• Analyse and consult composer contracts for royalty obligations
• Set up songs/products in Music Maestro
• Prepare and deliver quarterly royalty statements and corresponding royalty analysis for internal and external partners
• Analyse statements received from third party sources to identify potential underpayments
• Work with PROs, composers and third-party publishers to ensure our works are registered correctly in all territories
• Assess and approach third-party publishers for missing/inaccurate royalty reports
• Manage royalty claims and monitor their success
• Maintain composer contact details and relationships
• Create manual royalty statements and bespoke excel reports Perform other related duties and special projects as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A background in a similar role with a publisher or performing rights organisation.
• Experience of communicating with performing rights societies.
• Experience in navigating publishing contracts.
• Experience of working with media works (film, TV, commercials and games).
• General understanding of copyright basics
• IT skills including Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent level of numeracy.

Salary:            Negotiable based on experience
Hours:             9:30am – 6:00pm
Status:            Full time or Part time option available.
