Context:
Schott Music is an international music publisher, and this position is with the London office’s Contemporary Music Department, which is responsible for promoting the composers and concert works in the Schott Music catalogue.

Job Purpose:
The role of Promotion and Production Assistant is to support the Head of
Promotion and Head of Contemporary Music in the smooth running of the
department through vital promotional and administrative work.

Reporting to:
Head of Promotion & Head of Contemporary Music

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Is self-motivated and feeds on a high level of independent work, but also values collaboration
  • Is an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Can think creatively and problem solve
  • Thrives in a small team where they’re juggling lots of different types of work and has a willingness to engage with all tasks large and small
  • Is motivated to learn new systems and skills
  • Loves contemporary classical music and is excited about attending concerts and events outside working hours
  • And has previous experience in a similar administrative or assistant role.


Salary:

£23,000 per annum
