Today, we are proud to announce our sponsorship deal with Vistex, highlighting our joint commitment to supporting education, innovation and excellence in the music publishing sector.
The partnership will see Vistex continue to support a range of our initiatives, including our education and training programme and the Tony Pool Award, helping to strengthen skills, knowledge and long-term sustainability across the publishing community.
Vistex is a global leader in enterprise software solutions for the music industry, specialising in managing copyright, licensing, royalties and other revenue and margin management processes. With deep expertise in intellectual property-driven industries, Vistex supports transparency, efficiency and innovation, making it a strong strategic partner for the music publishing sector.
A key focus of the partnership will be the MPA’s educational programme, including its “The Publishing Effect: A 101 of Music Publishing” courses, designed to support early-career professionals and those seeking to deepen their understanding of music publishing, rights and royalties. Education remains a vital pillar of our work, helping to ensure the industry is well-equipped to meet future challenges, and Vistex’s support will enable the programme to continue to grow and reach new audiences.
The partnership also supports our commitment to recognising outstanding contributions to the industry through the Tony Pool Award. This award celebrates the achievements of those who have shown an exceptional contribution to the administrative areas (including royalties, copyright, business affairs, finance, HR and IT) of the music publishing industry. Previous recipients include Alison Hook, Atay Dervish, Ross Greening, Barry McKee, Maria Forte, Steve Clark and Andy Godfrey.
Our partnership reflects a shared commitment to investing in education, celebrating excellence and supporting the future of music publishing over the next three years.
