ESEA MUSIC ‘[RE]ORIENTATED’ SURVEY

To mark the start of ESEA Heritage Month, ESEA Music have shared the results of their first of a kind study into the representation of ESEA (East and Southeast Asians) in the UK music industry.

In partnership with product research and strategy studio 100kicks, it surveyed ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) artists and professionals in the UK music industry about their experiences in relation to their cultural identity and heritage. With over 80 participants, this pioneering survey is among the first to comprehensively collect data on the underrepresented intersection of the ESEA community within the UK music industry.
