Covid-19 Updates and Guidance

The MPA has endeavoured to keep our members informed with up to date information and developments surrounding Covid-19 and the music publishing industry.

Here is a pool of our resources.

Now, more than ever, it is vital to create an accurate representation of the UK music publishing industry. We use the results of this census to promote the work of our members, aid our lobbying efforts and feed into the Music By Numbers annual sector report to Government on the music industry. Please note that we have created an additional section of questions to reflect the impact of COVID-19 on your businesses.

We thank you for your continued cooperation and we wish you all safe and well.

Each and every one of us has a slightly different communication style and during this session we will be looking at how understanding your own communication style, can help you to communicate more effectively in all areas of your life.

Whether this is to improve and enhance your relationships with others or communicating the need for a better work life balance through being able to more clearly put in place boundaries and expectations, all the way through to being able to communicate effectively when in interviews, meetings or performance reviews, this session lead by Jack Williamson of Music & You will provide you with a variety of tools and techniques to help you communicate more effectively in your everyday life.

We hope to bring you more Wellness Webinars in the near future.

Ever wanted to hear your music in a film or TV show?

Ever wondered how this could be possible?

During these unsettling times we want to celebratechampion and inspire amazing songwriting, whilst opening the eyes of young songwriters to the world of film and TV music. With the ‘My Music in the Movies’ competition, all budding songwriters of secondary school age (between the ages of 11-18) will have the opportunity to receive direct feedback from a panel of our fantastic Music Publishers Association members including Warner Chappell Music, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Bucks Music Group, Downtown, Manners McDade and Peermusic. We’re also thrilled to announce new special guest judge, Tom Gray. Full details plus terms & conditions can be found here.
