What you can expect
We are seeking a junior Copyright & Licensing Specialist who is fluent in German (both written and oral) and English. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring successful cooperation with our German-based clients.

This role involves processing third-party requests for our music catalogues and ensuring compliance with German and UK copyright laws. This is an exciting position for someone with a particular interest in music copyright and printed music publishing. We will welcome applications from recent graduates with a degree in Music, Music Business, or a related field.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills

  • A degree-level qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in music, music business or another relevant subject
  • A passion for music and music making with a demonstrable interest particularly in printed music
  • Ability to learn quickly and juggle multiple task
  • Able to work well under pressure while maintaining a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment as a team player
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Fluent in German – the successful candidate will need to have excellent German and English communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Aligned with our company’s vision, mission and values

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of UK and German copyright law
  • Copyright and Licensing experience either through a previous employment or through education

The Team
This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the European Copyright and Licensing Manager within the Business Affairs department. You would also be working closely with our Business Affairs teams in the U.S.A., Germany and Italy.

Place of Work and Hours
This role is based remotely
9am – 5.30pm (1 hour break), Monday to Friday, working a total of 37.5 hours per week. Start, finish and lunch times can be flexed in agreement with your Manager.
