MPA Membership Terms & Conditions

Music Publisher Association (MPA) memberships run on a calendar year from 1 January to 31 December. Memberships are pro-rated at the discretion of MPA management. Any membership purchased outside of the 1 January will be due for renewal on the next 1 January.

Membership of the MPA is open to everyone who is active within music publishing. Applications must be received via the online form. All applications are reviewed by the MPA board. Applications which do not meet the relevant membership criteria will be denied membership, with the MPA Board providing reasons for rejection of the membership application. Once accepted by the board, all memberships will be confirmed in writing by the MPA Membership Manager. We endeavour to confirm all memberships within 2 weeks of application.

After payment is confirmed, your membership subscription is activated, providing immediate access to online resources. The MPA reserves the right to check that you have applied for the correct category of membership. If the incorrect membership category has been purchased, you will be advised about the correct category and any differences in payments, if applicable. Membership payments can be made via credit or debit card or bank transfer.

MPA members are required to conduct themselves in line with the organisations Articles of Association. The MPA’s Articles of Association govern the structure of the organisation and membership, voting and board elections. As well as our MPA Publisher Members, the articles also cover MPA Corporate Associate Partners. Failure to comply with the Articles of Association may result in termination of your membership.
