Beggars Music is the publishing arm of the Beggars Group.

We are seeking a Sync Manager to be based in our London office and oversee all aspects of our UK and ROW (Ex US) sync activity, working on both the creative and administrative side.

We are looking for a great communicator with a strong creative sensibility and a familiarity with our roster who can promote our catalogue for synchronisation opportunities effectively and grow our sync business.

Main responsibilities include:


-Pitch the BM catalogue for appropriate synchronisation opportunities

-Maintain relationships with the sync community and build and expand the UK and International sync contact book

-Service our releases/catalogue strategically to sync contacts

-Work with managers and labels to develop and execute sync campaigns around releases

-Work with our US Sync team to plan international sync campaigns

-Promote our composers for original composition opportunities

-Work with our composers on developing their writing/scoring CVs

-Organise sync showcases and other events with a sync focus


-Negotiate sync licensing deals with guidance from the publishing team

-Track syncs from first request to completion and generate monthly sync reports

-Track pitches and generate pitch reports

-Oversee catalogue categorisation through themed playlists and manage DISCO account

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in sync / licensing and have a good understanding of music publishing and copyright. You will have experience negotiating deals as well as an existing sync contact book and strong existing relationships with music supervisors and sync agencies.

You will have strong organisational skills and have experience of maintaining databases.

Experience of using DISCO to create digital sync mailers and share music as well as experience with song registrations would be an advantage.
