The UK’s music publishing sector is hugely dynamic – covering a wide range of roles, from creative to legal, across all genres of music.
Making Music is the UK organisation for leisure-time music groups, with over 3,500 groups in membership, home to around 190,000 hobby musicians. We support members with practical services and artistic opportunities; we celebrate their achievements and speak on their behalf to partners and policy makers.
We are looking for a part-time Marketing and Communications Officer (Part-time) to work with us on promotion, communication, media and income-generation.
Are you experienced in digital content and social media? Creative and able to find and write up stories for print, website, email and social media? If you also have great attention to detail, can juggle several tasks at the same time, and would like to find a job where your ideas are appreciated, then we definitely want to hear from you! We are a small team, so we work closely together, but we all also need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for our own area of work.
We are looking for someone for 3.5 days (24.5 hours) a week to be based in our London office; we can be flexible about when these hours are worked. Salary £22k pro rata (=£15.4k a year for 3.5dpw).
Download the job information pack and apply with CV and letter by 9am on Tuesday 28 May to firstname.lastname@example.org. Interviews will be on Tuesday 4 June in our office in London.
We really want everyone to feel they can apply and will be welcomed. If you have any questions now or need the job information – or would like to apply for the job – in a different format, please let us know: email email@example.com or phone 020 7939 6030
