About the role In this exciting and varied role you will work with agility to manage the Finance strategy and delivery for the Music Publishers Association (MPA) Group of Companies, ensuring their financial health.
You’ll take ownership of all daily activities, including invoicing, expenses, petty cash, and banking, including monitoring income and expenses. You will deal with queries, keep accurate records, own finance reporting and monthly dashboards. Alongside this you also be responsible for the production of monthly and annual financial reports, preparation of annual budgets and developing strategies based on financial research allowing you to guide senior executives in making sound business choices in the long and short term.
You’ll build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels withing MPA and key relationships with statutory auditors and external IT support.
About you We’re looking for applicants with extensive experience in a broad range of finance disciplines from day-to-day activities to the preparation of management accounts and budgets with the agility to adapt between strategic and tactical matters. You’ll have exceptional attention to detail and time management, demonstrable experience of financial and analytical modelling skills, reconciliation, and experience using online accounting systems and software.
A positive and proactive self-starter, you’ll be able to plan and deliver key activities independently and communicate effectively to advise, coach and influence across all levels in the organisation.
Applicants should be full or part-qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA.
