About the Role

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Editorial Administrative Assistant to join our busy editorial team. The role provides clerical support for all new sheet-music titles, supporting editors and liaising with other departmental colleagues. Core duties:

  • Administrative: record-keeping, database entry, processing dept. forms and reports
  • Secretarial: compiling meeting agendas/minutes, dealing with routine correspondence
  • Editorial: assist with copy-preparation
  • General: liaison with composers, freelancers, outside supplier

About You

The successful applicant will be well organised, competent in written and administrative tasks, and able to prioritise work. You will have confidence with IT systems, spreadsheets, word-processing packages, and a willingness to develop new skills. A good knowledge of classical music is required, along with experience of working in an office environment.
