The Music Publishers Association (MPA) Graduate Certificate in Editorial & Production (GCEP) is the only course in the UK offering extended, specialist training in editorial and production for music publishing. It has been designed by music publishers and is delivered through the Music Publishers Association (MPA).
The course tutors are some of the most highly experienced and respected people working in the field, including lead tutors Elaine Gould (Senior New Music Editor, Faber Music), James Eggleston (Head of Publishing, Boosey & Hawkes) and Sam Lung (Composer, Music Editor and Publishing Specialist).
This industry-approved qualification fills a perceived skills and training need that is not currently met by other training organisations. It is a comprehensive, detailed course for those entering or furthering a career in the editorial and production areas of printed music publishing.

Applicants must fill out the GCEP 2019 Application Form and send it back to the MPA Office or email it to email@example.com.
Applications will need to write a personal statement to explain why they want to attend the course and what they hope to get from it. They will also have to give a detailed history of their employment history and an employee reference (only required for applicants who are currently employed).

The 2019 GCEP course which will run from 12th January and finish on 11th May 2019.
Early bird rate: £1,650 (incl. VAT) for applications received before 31 October 2018
Standard rate: £1,750 (incl. VAT)
The final deadline for applications is 14 December 2018, although we advise submitting your application as early as possible as the course is likely to be oversubscribed.
