GRASSROOTS MUSIC VENUES EMERGENCY FUND #HEREFORCULTURE

In the creative industries, the UK leads the world. Our culture has been there for us, which is why at this critical moment, it’s vital we’re here for it.

As part of the biggest ever one-off investment in UK culture, the Government have launched the #HereForCulture campaign, to help support Britain’s globally renowned artsculture and heritage industries.

Through the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund, the Government has shown it is here for culture in all kinds of communities, and will provide the help that the arts and heritage sectors need to keep going through the coronavirus crisis.

In support of the campaign, we are proud to say we are Here For Culture.

As we open our doors once again, we need the public to come back and book to see the brilliant culture available to them in the UK, and by enabling visitors again, we won’t just benefit the industry, but also the communities across the country.

The MPA is working tirelessly with DCMSArts Council England and our allies and sister organisations, to ensure that this government support reaches the musicianscomposers and music publishers properly, so that it provides real stimulus and sustainability for the live music ecosystem.
