Feb 22 2021 News ENTRIES TO THE IVORS ACADEMY’S RISING STAR AWARD WITH APPLE MUSIC NOW OPEN 0 shares Entries are now open to the Ivors Academy’s Rising Star Award with Apple Music. The Award is open to songwriters aged between 18 – 24 and honours young British and Irish songwriters with exceptional potential and ambition. The winner will be presented with a dedicated Ivor Novello Award at The Ivors on 21st September 2021 and join a roll call of songwriting greats that includes Adele, Stormzy, Cathy Dennis, Annie Lennox, Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Joan Armatrading. Each nominee will receive a year-long mentorship from a well-established Academy member and leaders from Apple Music. Entries close on 26 March 2021 and you can find full information here.
