The Music Publishers Association is delighted to announce that bookings are now open for its 2016 annual Christmas Lunch. Now in its 57th year, the MPA Christmas Lunch is one of the longest established, most eagerly anticipated and best loved dates in the music industry calendar. This year, along with its 850+ guests, the event will welcome ticketing partner Eventbrite and drinks reception sponsor Spotify. As always, it’s an opportunity for individuals and businesses across the industry to unwind and celebrate the year with colleagues and friends alike.

Ireland’s top comedy hip hop improv team Abandoman will perform as this year’s headline entertainment. As winners of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year and Musical Comedy Awards, Abandoman have appeared on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, BBC3’s Live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and BBC Radio 1’s Fun and Filthy Cabaret, to name just a few. Described by The Times as ‘A proper party. Raucous, expansive and relentlessly Hilarious’, Abandoman’s trademark is blend of audience interaction and razor-sharp improvisation.

Returning to the Grand Ballroom at the London Hilton, Park Lane on Friday 16th December, the day starts with a champagne reception, before a sumptuous three-course lunch and entertainment. Guests can then enjoy an exclusive after-party with DJ until late.

This year’s booking includes an optional charitable donation to the Nathan Timothy Foundation – ‘The Songwriting Charity’, which addresses the emotional health and wellbeing of children using songwriting and music technology.
