LA Sync Mission 2017 - Now open for applications

We are delighted to continue partnering with the BPI, and Department of International Trade (DIT) for this the 13th Annual Sync Mission to Los Angeles.

Music companies and individuals looking to participate in the 2017 LA Sync Licensing Mission have until 23rd April to submit their applications.

Held at the iconic Capitol Tower in the heart of Hollywood, this ever popular industry event is aimed at supporting the continuing growth of UK music exports and will take place from 19th – 23rd June 2017.

The five-day mission is a broad-ranging and dynamic mix of panels, site visits, practical sessions, meetings and keynote speakers, and also includes an exclusive networking Reception at the British Consul General’s residence held in honour of our delegates.

Claire McAuley, General Manager of the Music Publishers Association added: “With the value of sync revenue and direct licensing received by our members in 2015 standing at approximately £52m, sync is undoubtedly an integral part of the music publishing business. Sync teams continue to grow within our membership and trade missions like the LA Sync Mission provide them with the perfect opportunity to learn about the intricacies of this ever evolving market. Sync licensing involves both the publishing rights and master recording of a track so teaming up with our friends at the BPI allows our members to expand their networks whilst give each other a helping hand. We are also very grateful for the continued support of DIT, in this, our 13th year.”
