MPA Christmas Lunch 2009 - the photos
Around 750 guests descended upon the London Hilton on Park Lane for the 50th Annual MPA Christmas Lunch.
Those present added their own sparkle to this glittering occasion, with some opting to add a subtle touch of gold to their outfit, whilst others went for full on bling.
MPA chairman Nigel Elderton awarded the prestigious MPA Gold Badge to Jonathan Simon in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the publishing industry, including longstanding service on the MPA Board, and more recently the MPA Pop Publishers Committee.
Post-prandial entertainment was provided by Hugh Dennis.
Following on from the comedy, MPA chief executive Stephen Navin introduced a very special guest appearance by Tony Hadley who performed, appropriately enough, "Gold".
After lunch 50 lucky finders of golden tickets led the charge from the Ballroom to the bar in order to claim their free MPA Gold Rush cocktail.
